Founderz: one source of truth for people and AI

Every document has an owner, a version and a date. AI assistants read the same knowledge people do, and drafts wait for a person.

What happened

Founderz runs a single source of truth for the whole company: one place where the official facts live, from the legal entity and approved figures to writing rules and product details. People and AI assistants use the same knowledge.

A few simple rules keep it trustworthy. Every document carries a version, a last-checked date and a classification: public, internal or confidential. Each figure is written once, in the document that owns it, and everything else links there. Changes are reviewed before they go live, and there’s a review rhythm for every document. AI assistants connect to the knowledge through a connector. When one proposes a change, the draft waits for a person to approve publication, and anything irreversible, such as publishing or editing the source of truth itself, needs a person’s explicit approval.

This standard was made the same way. The facts about Founderz on these pages come from that source of truth, and the AI assistants that helped draft the standard read the company’s writing rules there first.

What the sources establish

This is our own account of our own practice, not an independent assessment. We describe it because it shows the five rules working in an ordinary company.

Implications

A source of truth needs owners, dates, one home per fact and a rule that drafts wait for a person. A team can put those in place in a week, without a big project. Once they exist, every assistant that reads your knowledge gives better answers, and new colleagues find what they need faster.

Recommended practice

  1. 01Pick the ten facts your team is asked about most, and give each one a home and an owner.
  2. 02Add a version and a last-checked date to the documents you own.
  3. 03Point your assistant at those homes, and ask it which document it used.
